Steph has called over one of the church girls, Esther, to baby-sit Ava for the day. Little does she know that a fried-rice-stealing finger-ingesting-attempting monster lives in this house. She comes to the door and freezes. Jackie (Chinese teacher) tries to convince her that Juno is friendly. My teacher has now gotten used to Juno. She has learned that if you let Juno pounce...

Day off.
I watched a movie in my new room the night before so I don’t greet the day until 10am. 10am is a lot more friendly than 7am. I wish I could get to know it better. Seems like a keeper.
Thanks to my good friend Skype, I was able to spend some time with my human friends back at Liberty University. They sit their computer in a corner and we all just sit around and talk. Secrets are...

I halfway wake up and shuffle to the laptop. Trading in Steph and Jake’s house for a cave has not proven to produce a desirable morning. My sister walks by, “I’m going to try to pay the electric bill.” “You are?” She’s supposed to be bedridden. She doesn’t want to inconvenience anyone by asking them to figure this out for her. I guess I will come along to help. What we thought was going to...

The power at Steph and Jake’s house is out. They got a bill and weren’t able to pay because of some complications with the numbers on the bill therefore being unable to identify their account or something to that effect.
Today I go to have lunch with Simon (first studied Bible with, stood on train 10 hours). We eat at his cafeteria. This is the first time I am seeing him...

I am cooking far too much these days. I have never even thought about cooking as much as I have cooked. Today is the baked chicken chalupa meal again. I love Mexican food. However, it seems to me that all Mexican food is just the same ingredients prepared in different ways. Take either chicken, beef, or pork, add tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, possible rice and beans, and wrap it all up in...

It’s back to Harbin for us. We leave the hotel early in the morning. I sleep in the taxi on the way to the airport. By the time we get to the airport, get checked in, and start boarding, I’m starving. Airplane food is not horrendous to me. So as I’m taking my seat, my mouth is watering at the thought of strangely packaged meats and a half delicious half detestable dessert. Seatbelt fastened,...
